MEMORANDUM

1. Name of the Society

The name of the Society registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860 shall be "ASSOCIATION OF CGHS AFFECTED MEMBERS (AOCAM)". Herein after referred to as "AOCAM".

2. Registered office

The registered office of the AOCAM shall be situated at -PLOT NO.3B, SECTOR 2, DWARKA, NEW .DELHI-110075

3. Area of operation

The area of operation of the AOCAM will be in the Union Territory of Delhi.

4. Aims and Objectives

The aims and objectives of the AOCAM shall be as follows:

(a) To perform all possible legitimate activities to cause allotment of flats to its members in different cooperative Group Housing Societies;

(b) To facilitate its members in getting all types of clearances from different Government/ Non-government agencies;

(c) Other welfare/environmental measures aiming at the betterment of the living condition/standard of the members;

(d) To help poor/physically and mentally challenged people;

(e) To promote and undertake programmes for moral and mental development of youth of all communities, caste, creed or sex through yoga, creative art and other legal applicable means;

(f) To work in the field of education, health awareness, sanitation, pollution control, preservation of energy, environment protection, cultural development and social economic development of the people of all communities belonging to our the Society;

(g) To take up programmes to promote, spread and develop National Integration, consumer awareness and communal and social harmony;

(h) To organize seminars and conferences, meetings and cultural programmes for the purpose of education, health awareness and sanitation and moral development, to educate the people for eradication of social evils like dowry system, child marriage, drug addiction and system of child and woman labours;

(i) To provide relief measures to the needy affected persons during natural calamities like flood, fire, famine and earthquake;

(j) To co-operate with the Delhi Police and other Local Law Authorities / Bodies;

(k) To abide by Law & order of the Delhi Govt. and other Local Authorities;

(l) To establish, manage and maintain charitable health centre, dispensary, eye camp, pulse and polio drop distribution centre, medical training centre, technical and non-technical training centre, software and hardware training centre;

(m) To provide training to women, youth and children in music, dance, crafts, cultural show, drama, kathak and classical dance and organize cultural programmes in the area;

(n) To seek all round development of education, recognition and appreciation of culture, literature including fine arts and promotion and development of education irrespective of caste, creed and faith;

(o) To perform all other acts which are necessary for the attainment of the above aims and objects;

All the income earning, movable, immovable properties of the AOCAM shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aims and objectives only set forth in the memorandum of association and no profit there of shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus profits or in any manner whatsoever to the present and past member of the AOCAM or to any person claiming through any or more of the present or past members. No member of the AOCAM shall have any personal claim on any movable or immovable properties of the AOCAM or make any profit, whatsoever by virtue of his membership.
